Women are likely to be interrupted by a male colleague — usually to dominate the conversation or devalue what she is saying — at least twice in a three-minute conversation. This according to a study from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Mansplaining is when a man explains something to a woman in a condescending way that assumes she has no knowledge about the topic.
