After some initial experience in media and communications, Kopal Khanna decided she wanted to be a storyteller who encourages other people’s stories. She believes it’s the small dreams that count and are worth talking about. After serving as the head of communications at Asian Center for Entertainment Education, she co-founded Tape A Tale, a platform where anyone can submit prerecorded personal stories for the world to listen to. It’s a safe space for people to share and tell, listen and feel, and connect with people from all walks of life.

She is also the founder of Wall for Wall, a public art project that aims to break down barriers among individuals and communities. With a double master’s from the University of Southern California and the London School of Economics, Kopal has also written a novel, Almost Whole, which was inspired by her experience of teaching English, mathematics and Hindi to inmates at a women’s prison.
