Meghana Narayan’s career trajectory is guided by the philosophy ‘be the change you want to see’. After completing her MBA from Harvard Business School, Meghana worked as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in London and Delhi when she and a friend discovered that there were limited food choices for children in India. So, the two young mothers decided to turn entrepreneurs and co-founded Slurrp Farm. It provides healthy snack and mealtime options for young children and their parents. Meghana used to run McKinsey’s public health practice and already knew what was nutritionally wrong with most packaged foods in the country. And yet, as an outsider to the food industry, she discovered that manufacturing a new product was the first mountain to climb. But she was a mummy on a mission—to get Indian kids to eat better. In three years, Slurrp Farm was serving 5,00,000 customers. Meghana was able to prove that you don’t need to be an insider to make it big in any industry.

Besides being a successful entrepreneur, Meghana is an ace swimmer. She has represented India in swimming competitions for many years, winning over 400 gold medals, including at the Asian Games. She also earned an Oxford Blue in swimming while studying at Oriel College for a master’s in computer science as a Rhodes scholar.
