A firm believer in the power of stories to change the world, Ravishankar Iyer combines education, experience and interests to help individuals and organizations craft their own narrative. His core storytelling skills were developed during a consulting stint at Feedback Infra, where he led teams that made information-rich presentations to clients such as Advent International and India Equity Partners.

A rank-holder as a chartered accountant (CA), Ravishankar’s understanding of business domains was shaped at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad. Thereafter, he worked as associate principal at Feedback Infra, leading a team of consultants and analysts across assignments in the healthcare advisory practice. In 2011, he joined B-ABLE as assistant vice-president, playing a crucial role in the functions of strategy development, fundraising and placement partnerships.

In August 2015, Ravishankar co-founded CaptivaTour, researching and writing stories for India’s highest rated mobile audio-guides for historical monuments.

In 2017, Ravishankar set up Story Rules, to provide training in data, storytelling, business storytelling, coaching for high-stakes story events like TEDx talks and consulting for crucial story pitches. You can read his writing on the craft of storytelling on his blog.
