Varun Sheth is the co-founder and CEO of Ketto, short for Key To Tomorrow, one of Asia’s most trusted crowdfunding platforms.

With an educational background in Commerce, Varun is a certified financial risk manager and an alumnus of the Dasra Social Impact Program, where he first identified his love for people-centric social investment.

Before Ketto, Varun worked with a financial company but was let go when they needed to cut costs. On a break in Manali, he was invited by an NGO to volunteer with them. He helped them raise money with the help of the internet and realized the potential of combining the power of the web and people’s willingness to support causes and cases they believed in.

He took his idea of Ketto to no less than a hundred investors, getting rejected by each before he found that one person who believed in him and his vision of a digital and transparent format of giving.

Varun began to filter his time and energies into what has now come to be the purpose of his life—helping people raise money for genuine causes ranging from funding a start-up to generating funds for a health emergency.
