  • D5: Choose And Verify Permanent Actions For Correcting Problems

  • D7: Take Preventive Measures Against Recurrence

Identify opportunities to modify policies and procedures. Improve standardized methods and systems to prevent the problem or similar issues from recurring.  

 

  • D8: Recognize Team Effort And Contribution

Once the 8D analysis has been reviewed, recognize team effort. Praise individual contributions and the team’s success. Integrate the new findings into the 8D problem-solving process. Reward the team.
