Thrive Skills are an essential set of cognitive, social and behavioral skills to enable our learners to continuously succeed, at every stage of their career.
Any business or organization has those moments when the managers, leaders or employees need to take risks. Prudent Risk-Taking is when a person is able to make sound decisions in times of uncertainty.
A prudent risk taker is a person who is able to remain calm during uncertain times and come up with sound and rational decisions. Prudent risk takers are able to drive business outcomes since they often need to think creatively and apply practical solutions.
Prudent Risk-Taking helps differentiate between good and bad risks. The fear of failure is minimized and a person is able to overcome self-imposed limitations. Prudent Risk-Taking requires courage and the ability to make decisions that a person truly believes in. All of this ensures that a prudent risk taker is able to grow professionally.
The Harappa program that focuses on Prudent Risk-Taking as a Thrive Skill is the High Performing Leaders Program.
Other Thrive Skills under LEAD are Taking Ownership, Self-Directedness, Productive Delegation, Outcome Orientation, Managerial Courage and Leading High Performance.
